Yesterday was our son-in-law Brent's birthday.  We love all of our kid's spouses as our own. We are really lucky in that respect. We hope you had a great birthday Brent.  We love you.

On Sunday our Chicago Grandson played in the All-star basketball game and they won.  I was so happy to see that he had the following of some family in his area.  His Dad, Cousins Denise, Lisa and her husband Nick and his other Grand-parents who live in that area. And, of course his Mom, Jane who was taking the picture.  I wish we could have been there but our congratulations to Jake and his team.

Last week was spring break for the Grand-kids here in Texas.  We had a fun date to see OZ  and have lunch at the Movie Grille.  This was fun and a recommended movie for all ages.

The link below takes you to a video that has a song I wrote with a painting that represents the song.  This video means a lot to me because there are many members of my family including all of my grand-children participating with video clips they contributed.  Since the song is "Everyone's On the Phone," they videoed themselves being on the phone. Some are quite humorous and cute with some things intended and some surprises. My thanks to them for helping me with my Grand-ma project and I hope this will be a keepsake for them as well.

Also my thanks to Walt Mills for recording, arranging and producing the video.

Last year we went to the Irish Fest in Dallas and took a lot of pictures. We went Saturday and it was cold so we only went to see our friends play and to get some Irish Stew.  Michael is my daughter's neighbor and that is how we became familiar with his band.  Once we heard them we became a fan.  They are all very talented individuals.  Note the outfit Michael is wearing.  We have seen him with some crazy outfits but this is the craziest.  We had a conversation wondering where would one get an outfit like that.  It is a sure bet Michael's wife made it.  I will have to ask him sometime. If you are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area check with their website to see where they are playing. You will be in for a treat. www.trinityriverwhalers.com
