Daisy, Daisy give me your answer, do, I'm half crazy all for the love of you, It won't be a stylish marriage - I can't afford a carriage, But you'd look sweet upon the seat, Of a bicycle built for two. This photo brought back memories of a song that my Grandmother and Mother used to sing to me as a child. Bob and I thought it would be nice to get the two seater to have something fun to do together and also to get some exercise. After everyone left yesterday we took a ride on the bike and really enjoyed it.

Happy Birthday Day to Jack, our youngest Grandson. He turned eight today. Jack has the same sence of humor as his parents and he is an excellent student. You have seen him recently featured in basketball and baseball. An interesting thing about Jack is that just last week end he was the best man to his Uncle Tim. He is the youngest best man I have ever heard of. Well, it was Jack and his Dad John, standing up for Tim. The story I got from John was that John was the best man and Jack was the better man. When I get pictures of that occasion I will post them.

Happy Birthday to our dear son-in-law Brent. Brent is sitting with Angie in the photo below. Browsing through my pictures I found this one which is very nice. I dared not post some of the photos of Brent because he is kind of a prankster and I am sure I would be in trouble for instance: there is one of him getting ready to torture Bob while he was sleeping. I'm sure I would be in trouble with Bob too. Anyway, we love you Brent and hope you have a great day!

This past Monday we attended Peyton's JV soccer game. She has been a very busy girl this year. She went from JV volley ball, to JV basketball and now she is playing JV soccer. I am not sure if you can see just how grand the high school stadium is in the picture but most of the high school stadiums are quite elaborate. I am so impressed. It must be a lot of fun to play there.

While watching the horrible images on TV about the earthquake in Japan I turned my head and looked out my window. The white pelicans are back. I always get very excited when I see the beautiful white pelicans. They are almost as beautiful as the swan. They were across the lake and I had to zoom in. I wish I could get a closer photo but they seem to keep their distances. It is so strange how in one part of the world there is such turmoil and in my little world right now it is so peaceful, in which I give thanks. We pray for those poor people in Japan.
