We decided to visit Robert as he has been working in Baton Rouge.  He met us in New Orleans and we spent the day touring and visiting. This was the first time we have been to New Orleans since Katrina.  The city has been revitalized.  It was crowded with people and tourists so much that the parking garages were full everywhere.  It was great to see that so much has been done.  Since parking was impossible we discovered the trolley cars were only 3.00 per person for day a pass.  We parked our car on a side street a few blocks out of town and took the trolley cars to get around.  This worked out really well.

Wow! so happy to see that area thriving! I still remember those awful images of the hurricane damage.
