I have a hibiscus plant in a pot next to my window in the living room. It should probably be in the garden but I think I will wait until spring to plant it outside. The flowers come and go so quickly so I thought I would share the blooming moment with you.

Hi Pak Oncu, I did not know the hibiscus plant is your national flower. I visited your website and Malaysia looks very beautiful. It looks like it would be a wonderful place to take a vacation sometime. Thank you for following my blog.
I really like this photo
This is going to sound terrible, but as children, we would pick the hibiscus which grew everywhere in Cuba, pull the petals back, and expose a small part of the flower that appeared at the base of the staminal column. It was very sticky, and we would place it on the tip of our nose just to see how long it would stay there before falling off. Now as an adult, I'm sorry I didn't appreciate how really beautiful this flower is and just simply enjoyed it.
Maria, That sounds like fun. As an adult I think I'll try it. :)
nice color
I love hibiscus! We had them growing in our yard in Salt Lake City, and Doug use to make a tasty little salad with the hibiscus flower petals for our bratty iguana.
