Sometimes when your kids get married you not only get a wonderful son or daughter-in-law but you become great friends with their families and they become a part of your family. We have been very fortunate and that is the case with all of our kids. Carrie is the sister of our son-in-law Rob. She is much like a daughter to us. She lives near St. Louis and we often stop on our way to Chicago and either stay with her or meet her for lunch or what ever we can arrange. Carrie spends some of her holidays with us also. Last Thanksgiving we spent Thanksgiving with Rob's parents and Carrie's family in Arizona. We feel very blessed with our in-law's families in our lives.

While stopping by Carrie's the other day we got a picture of her and of Hailey but didn't get one of Page. I feel very complemented and honored that Carrie displays so much of my artwork in her home. We had fun taking a few pictures and I posted a few of them. Thank you Carrie.

It's a testament to you and Bob's temperament and generosity of spirit, that you seem to attract friends like moths to a flame. Here you are feeling blessed by your wonderful in-laws, when it's the in-laws that are so very, very lucky to have you in their lives.
