Jane had to work and be with her group three of the days that we were in Portugal. One of those days Bob and I took a bus to Sintra to see Pena Palace. We chose to take the bus so we could see some of the countryside even though it took us longer because of stops. This proved to be a good decision. The countryside was very nice, clean and beautiful. Sintra was a very quaint town and there were several palaces. We only toured one because any more would have been too physically challenging for me.
